Yes — the surface is 100% genuine natural concrete stone, hand-split to reveal the aggregate matrix. It is not a PVC film, printed vinyl or synthetic tile. The colour variation you see is natural mineral variation within the concrete slab.
Ceramic concrete-effect tiles are fired clay with a printed pattern. Concrete veneer is actual compressed concrete stone, sliced to 1.5–2mm. The surface texture is real — you can feel the aggregate under your finger. No two sheets are identical.
Yes — with the correct sealant and moisture-resistant backing. Standard polyester backing is interior-grade. Specify fleece or fabric backing for wet-adjacent areas, and apply a penetrating stone sealer. Not recommended for direct water immersion (shower floor).
All dark concrete surfaces will show smudges under certain lighting. We recommend applying a matte penetrating sealer which eliminates the issue without adding surface gloss.
Yes — fabric ultra-flex backing handles the tightest radius curves. Tell us the desk radius when requesting samples and we will specify the correct grade.
FR-rated backing achieves B1/B2 classification — suitable for hotels, airports, hospitals and other commercial projects requiring fire compliance. Standard polyester backing has no fire rating (interior residential use only). Specify FR when requesting a quote.
